One QR code: the barcode retailers scan, the link shoppers open
Retail is moving from the old UPC stripe to 2D barcodes — GS1's Sunrise 2027 transition. Business Dash generates a GS1 Digital Link QR for every product variant: a standards-shaped code a point-of-sale scanner reads the GTIN out of, that doubles as a working web link on your own domain when a shopper points a phone at it.
Compliance without a consultant
Enter the variant's GTIN and the check digit is validated as you type — a mis-keyed digit gets caught on screen, not on ten thousand printed labels. The generated code follows the GS1 Digital Link standard exactly: the GTIN rides the path the way scanners expect, batch and serial numbers slot in for lot-level labels, and an expiry date travels along when the product needs one.

The same scan is a customer touchpoint
Because a GS1 Digital Link is a real URL, the code on your packaging resolves on YOUR domain once it's verified — product story, instructions, reorder, support, whatever you put there. Until then it falls back to GS1's public resolver, so the link is never dead.
One symbol on the label does both jobs: the register reads the product identity, and the customer standing in their kitchen a month later lands on your site instead of a search results page.
