A request form used to be a list of answers your team turned into a number. Now the number lives in the form: define your pricing logic once as a Business Function, drop a Calculation field, and the total updates as the visitor types — while the logic you'd rather keep private runs server-side only.
Build reusable no-code logic under Automations → Functions — typed inputs, named outputs, and forty-five spreadsheet-style functions (SUM, IF, ROUND, a haversine DISTANCE, and more). A 'trip fee' or a 'system size' is defined once and referenced from every form. Mark a function sensitive and it never reaches the browser — it runs on our servers at submit, and only the result comes back.
Drop a Calculation field, point it at a function or an inline formula, and map its inputs to other fields. The visitor watches the estimate move as they answer — distance pricing, a running quote, an install size. The same number renders in the builder preview, on your site, and on a customer's domain through the SDK.
The Credit Card element takes a deposit or saves a card on file through Stripe on your own connected account — the platform never touches the number. The Schedule element lets a visitor say when they're available (days × time windows, or ASAP) so the first call is 'here's a time,' not 'when are you around?'
Files buffer and only upload when the visitor submits, so abandoned forms never orphan storage — and iPhone HEIC photos and HEVC video are accepted automatically. If a submit fails, the form turns into a guide: it routes to each problem in turn and scrolls it into view, like a document walking you to every spot that still needs a signature.
